WILDLIFE

The estate has various antelope, including blesbok, springbuck, grey rhebok, oryx, eland, red hartebeest, wildebeest.
A few zebras keep the two resident horses (Vrystaat and Penny), which can be seen roaming freely, company. They do appreciate an apple or carrot if you have some left over.
An ostrich named Itchy can also be seen from time to time.
Various highveld bird species can be spotted, some right from the house.
